Baby Lentivech (20ish week Ultrasound)

After a bit of a delay (John getting stuck in LA for another day... ) we finally got to see our little pumpkin.  It was such an amazing experience..... of course... this is our child so it did not cooperate with the Ultrasound Tech at ALL!  The scan took about double the normal time, the baby hid under my belly button then wouldn't turn so they could check it's heart.  I had to get up in the  middle and move around to try and get our little one to cooperate... which finally it did (on it's own time schedule of course) and the tech said the baby is healthy and is right where it needs to be with size and development.

Now the best part- our pictures!!!!

I had to do a self portrait of the tummy as Daddy was in LA, but it shows Baby L :)
I don't look as big as most would imagine, but that is because it is all on the backside... ha! And that is not just me being sensitive, Johnny agrees and has no problem telling me it.. haha!

Baby L!!!!!!! The fist pumping action is a result of the Tech annoying our child and the baby pushing back... yeah.. stubborn already!

A little closer...

The baby's face can actually be seen... which amazed both of us.... because the Tech kept pointing out things on the screen and both John and I would nod and mumble... "oh yeah".. but in all honesty... we couldn't tell what the heck we were looking at.. haha.  It is not as easy as you would think :)

We didn't find out the sex (which I know shocks most of you as both John and I normally can't wait for anything.. haha).   We figure there are so few real surprises in life... and this will definitely be one of the most amazing!!!  Although John is still teasing me that when I left the room they told him.. haha...

Based on the pics, what do you think???
